How to style knitwear this season
Simple layering ideas and color combinations you’ll actually wear every day.

Start with a clean base layer
The easiest way to make knitwear feel sharp this season is to treat it like structure, not just comfort. Begin with a slim tee, sleeveless tank, or light turtleneck in a close neutral — bone, soft black, or warm grey. That quieter base keeps thick knits from looking bulky and lets the silhouette stay readable.
At KØRA, we cut most knits with a little room through the body and a cleaner shoulder. That means you can stack layers without losing shape. If your knit already has volume, keep everything underneath close to the body so the outfit still moves with you.
Use color the way you use texture
Tone-on-tone dressing is the fastest route to a pulled-together look. Try cream on cream, or charcoal over deep olive. Then add one quieter accent — a leather belt, polished loafers, or a scarf in a cooler grey — so the outfit still has depth without shouting.
A simple formula for colder days
Merino crew + tailored trouser + mid-length coat. Swap the trouser for a dark denim on weekends. Finish with a structured bag and you'll have an outfit that works for the office, dinner, and travel with almost no thinking.
